Writers take note: the 2024 Kachemak Bay Writers’ Conference is scheduled for May 18th through the 21st at the Kachemak Bay Campus in downtown Homer, AK. This nationally recognized writing conference has been a popular event for writers to meet and improve their craft since 2002.
Could there be a more inspirational setting for a writers’ conference than ocean side in Homer, Alaska? We don’t think so and are sure you’ll agree. The annual conference draws a host of both established and new writers every year, for 22 years and counting.
This year’s theme is “Wonder in the Wounded World,” with a focus on building stronger writing and reading skills. Attendees will enjoy 4 days of classes, agent and editor meetings, panel discussions, readings, making new connections, and beautiful Homer, AK.
2024 conference faculty includes published authors Nuar Alsadir, Destiny O. Birdson, David Nikki Crouse, Debra Magpie Earling, Jennifer Elise Foerster, Hafizah Augustus Geter, David George Haskell, Sean Hill, Priyanka Kumar, and Emily Wall.
Be sure to check out the Faculty book list and purchase copies of their work online via the Homer Bookstore. You can also visit the bookstore during the conference at 332 E Pioneer Ave #1, in Homer.
